Join Nia in these guided journaling and creative writing sessions, where we dig deep into the subconscious + ancestral soul-stories to help you release traumatic blockages and connect with your authentic voice.

This series, inspired by the Bantu-Kongo cosmogram, explores the four portals of the human life cycle: Birth, Vitality, Death, and Regeneration. Each of the four sessions explores one of these portals deeply, and participants will leave the series with a personal incantation supporting their movement through each of these stages in life, whenever they arise. Series-members have the opportunity to be buoyed by accountability partnership with course-mates throughout the process so that these created incantations become living guides, alive far beyond the page as we create writing that activates, calls upon, and honors the the higher self, the ancestral, and the divine realm of the unseen.

We will look at prayer, spell, incantation, and mystic poetry as inspiration to create our own works of soul-lead writing, and we will close each session with a sharing circle of the highest order! We move with curiosity and humility, we welcome surprise, and we humble ourselves to what the ancestors want to share as we align ourselves with what it means to become the vessel.

This is a MINKA x Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health Partnership Offering—Created to Bring Efforts of Equity, Diversity, and Decolonizing Work to All.
