There are stigmas around being empaths as disempowered and/or at the mercy of their environment, and being psychic as ridiculous or ‘crazy’. The most common misconception is that psychic ability is given to a very few - we will shift this very notion in this course by offering information, practices and exercises with like-minded souls who will become your learning community.
Class structure:
Day 1 (5pm - 9pm) - Becoming an empowered empath with Reiki Godmothers
Day 2 (12pm - 4pm) - Assessing symptoms of mental health with Omar Zurita and Manu Del Prete
Day 3 (12pm - 6pm) - Psychic development practice day with Manu Del Prete
FAQ:
I already get overwhelmed, will this class open me up to picking up on more unwanted energy?
No. This belief system is based on outdated superstition. The truth is, the same techniques used for receiving psychic information are also used to be able to shield yourself from unnecessary information, as well as learning how to work with your boundaries.
Will you cover how to connect with Spirit, especially higher entities?
We don’t subscribe to the implied hierarchy of Spirit - channeling the angelic realm is not more spiritual than understanding your own energy and what your own soul feels like. Although we cover the basics of connecting with Spirit to get you started on your
own, the emphasis on this course is on creating a solid foundation from which to build, which is often skipped over. Mediumship uses a very different set of skills that require a strong psychic foundation in order to do it well. This psychic development class is a prerequisite to take any mediumship, medical intuition and channeling classes.
Is this class going to give me what I need in order to be a working, professional psychic?
A big misconception we tend to come across is the idea that all that is required is to switch on a psychic lightbulb, and then you’re good to go. Learning how to use your psychic ability is just like learning any other art or skill, like painting or music. The more you practice, the more exact you will be with your information. With supportive instruction, you may be able to develop more quickly and avoid more pitfalls. The best way to think of it, though, is that working on your psychic development is a beautiful, life-long practice that isn’t necessarily confined to a specific set of goals.
Holding space for people requires a more broad education and understanding, however, we will include basics of how to provide care to people who carry trauma, especially during the second day with Omar.
