This is a MINKA x Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health Partnership Offering—Created to Bring Efforts of Equity, Diversity, and Decolonizing Work to All.
Utilizing principles and practices of Active Meditation, EFT ( Emotional Freedom Technique), and Somatic Experiencing we will resource ourselves and balance the body and nervous system by inviting grounding, observation, and gentle movement.
During this workshop, we will use curiosity as the guiding principle to bring awareness to sensations within the physical, mental, and emotional bodies. We will explore ways to honor discomfort and tension while being able to access peace and ease. Please bring a journal.

Sunder Ashni, daughter of Cynthia and Allan, is a Flower Essence therapist, IET Practitioner, Reiki Master, healing channel, educator, and a private practitioner of Somatic Experiencing. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY with rich roots in the island of St. Vincent & The Grenadines. Ashni facilitates ceremonies, meditations, and experiences permeated with love that cultivate radical awareness, appreciation of self, and overall ecstatic wellness within participants and their community with the intention of re-cultivating a deep connection with our Earth mother.

Paying It Forward
We provide most of our community offerings and private sessions by sliding scale. This is based on the idea of ‘paying it forward’ which enables more people to access healing and wellness. This works when people pay as much as they can for our offerings to help others who may be less fortunate be able to gain access, too. We believe everyone is entitled to heal and thrive, and that practitioners deserve to earn a living wage. We are all in this together and choose to do our best to take care of one another.
