Facilitated by: Luisa Muhr
Exchange: $35-$120 Sliding Scale
This workshop will be facilitated via video conference call, so we will work in an adapted form of traditional in-person group Family & Systemic Constellations workshops.
Please note: This is an all-private setting and the workshop will NOT be recorded. I am kindly asking you, if you are doing your own constellation, to please consider paying the higher end of the sliding scale, if possible.
For the ones who are new to the work: What are Family & Systemic Constellations?
Developed by German psychotherapist Bert Hellinger in the 1990s, Family Constellations is an alternative form of therapy work. It involves a group of people who come together, seated in a circle, offering their awareness and presence and thus creating a, what Constellations Practitioners call, “work field”. It is an energy field and is where the work takes place. In a virtual setting we will explore this field (and its multitudes) in new dimensions.
The basic principle of Family Constellations is based on the idea that certain issues and patterns we encounter in our daily lives (either on the surface or in the subconscious) are always somehow connected to and deeply rooted in our ancestry. What often is missing is the awareness of these connections.
How does traditional Family & Systemic Constellation work practically occur?
A person who has a specific issue they want to look at presents a question to the facilitator who will guide a process of setting up other participants from the circle (so-called "representatives") in the center of the circle (the “work field”) who then will start following their impulses.
This will take place in such a way that it offers insight into the hidden dynamics at play, eventually leading to significant healing movements. The process is intuitive, dogma-free, and helps people connect with their own authenticity, inner wisdom, and soul force that build the foundation of change.
Participants can either do their own constellations or function as representatives in other people's constellations. It is highly encouraged to participate either way when attending a workshop but no one is required to do a constellation in order to attend. It is important to note that this work goes very deep and does not live or function in the head but in the soul/the inside. In German it is called "Seelenarbeit" ("soul work").

"What we do in this work is initiating movement." -- Luisa Muhr
Luisa Muhr is a New-York-based artist and Family & Systemic Constellations Coach/Facilitator, originally from Vienna, Austria.
She was first introduced to Family Constellations and Astrology at a very early age and has been exposed to and shaped by both since. Luisa did her training back in Europe with one of Germany's most prominent Family Constellations Facilitators, Dr. Peter Orban, who was one of Bert Hellinger's early students. Inspired by her mentor, her Constellation work can also include archetypes (rooted in Carl Jung's teachings).
In March 2020 Luisa was scheduled to be a panelist and presenter at the University of Michigan, discussing the healing aspects of "fieldwork" in the arts/performance practice and in Family Constellation work, which due to the COVID-19 pandemic was postponed to early 2021.
Apart from her work as a Constellations Facilitator and Coach Luisa is a multi- and interdisciplinary performer and theater-maker, specializing in vocal, movement, performance, sound, and installation art. Luisa is the co-founder and artistic director of the performing arts company FENGARI Works and runs New York's leading interdisciplinary womxn and non-binary artists series Women Between Arts (at The New School Glassbox Theater).
