Discover New Happiness with the New Moon in Scorpio

Are you feeling burned out and seeking a fresh start? Join us, Kadijah Spence and Yura Sapi, in harnessing the power of the New Moon in Scorpio to reignite your self-care and self-love journey. In this transformative workshop, we explore self-love across various dimensions of life using Freedom Meditation and creative visualization exercises. Leave with a personalized manifesting document for a more harmonious and fulfilling life.

In this workshop we will:

  • tackle burnout through a decolonized lens

  • emphase radical and revolutionary love for self and the world

  • heal intergenerational trauma

  • and shape a just future

Invest in yourself to keep giving to your communities and social justice causes.

YURA SAPI is a light being of Earth, a multi-disciplinary creator and facilitator at the intersections of the arts, healing and social justice. Yura creates liberated spaces that uplift, heal, and transform extending beyond borders and prioritizing anti-racism and decolonization for our globally just futures. They host and produce the Building Our Own Tables Podcast which supports artists and creative activists manifesting our collective liberation. Yura shares from Embera native land in Nuquí, Chocó on the afroindigenous pacific coast of Colombia, where they host artist residencies and learn from the wisdom of nature.

KADIJAH SPENCE studied environmental education and researched Jewish values in Jewish environmental education. Kadijah is part of the education team at Central Synagogue, as the fourth grade lead educator. There, they draw on their environmental education studies and research, with a focus on Jewish values and social justice, to create their lesson plans. Kadijah integrates their cultural and social identities into their work to form welcoming and affirming educational spaces. Their passions include gardening, nature walks, writing poetry, coloring, and watching action movies. They love to explore nature and connect with their inner self through music and community. When taking moments for themself, Kadijah notices that they are recharging their battery to continue educating and advocating for their communities.

What is Sliding Scale?
We provide all of our community offerings and some private sessions by sliding scale. We believe everyone is entitled to heal their wounds so they can thrive; we also believe that the wellness and healing practitioners deserve to make a living wage. In order to make this possible, we ask you to pay as much as you can, so those who might not be able to pay as much can still receive their healing session - this is the idea behind 'paying it forward'. We are all in this together, and we choose to do our best to take care of one another.

Thank you in advance!
