In a 90-minute online workshop, you will be guided in a hypno-poetic somatic trance to embody the 4 elements: Fire, Air, Water, Earth. Embodying the 4 elements allows us to re-member our absolute connection & complete dependence to planet Earth, so that we can better show up to ourselves and honor those elements as within so without.
Transcendence here speaks to the 2 foundations of this practice: Trance & Transness. Trance is a state of focused awareness where we can bypass the critical or conscious mind and access the subconscious mind. It is a state of relaxation, a mind-bending sense of alternate reality, where we can work towards the increase and flourishing of our creativity and healing.
Transness allows us to bypass the norm, to cross the conscious, the set in norms. It is interested in the beyond, the in-between. It refuses a final destination as the ultimate answer to the human experience.
Both trance & transness ask us to surrender to the infinite in-between, the grey area that constructs, builds & enriches the human experience. They ask us to journey in the depths of unknown territories & landscapes within us, so that we can better show up to our complexities.
Working with the 4 elements allows us to access parts of the selves that we have lost or taken for granted. Parts of us that we can claim now as our own, intimate partner of co-creation. They help us reconnect with landscapes within.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Bring a journal to release & collect anything that needs releasing & collecting after our journey. This hypno-poetic trance is perfect for people who have been feeling numb, disconnected from their body and/or environment and need to find more belonging. During the workshop, participants are invited to lay down and let their imagination work towards their healing. Moving our bodies how they feel called to is also absolutely welcome.

Elia (they/them), is a Black queer ancestral wound alchemist & trauma-informed witch who works with forms of divination such as astrology, tarot, Reiki & hypnosis. They help creatives, change makers and healers re-member their gifts by guiding them through liminal spaces & the subliminal to reclaim their deepest pain or shame. They believe that wrapped in our shame & buried in our deepest wounds, hides our creative genius. Reclaiming our story and reconciling with our pain through ceremony helps us sit in our power and inspire others to thrive towards personal & collective liberation.
They are a licensed hypnotist with the International Association of Counselors & Therapists and the National Guild of Hypnotists. They currently reside in France where they work as a healer, teach soul alchemy workshops, lean in communal flourishing & take care of their inner child. They are currently working on their first Tarot deck called Ancestral Healing Tarot deck. They also also write & produce a podcast called Ancestral Healing Magick.

We offer all of our community offerings and some private sessions by Sliding Scale.
We believe everyone is entitled to heal their wounds so they can thrive; we also believe that the wellness and healing practitioners deserve to make a living wage. In order to make this possible, we ask you to pay as much as you can, so those who might not be able to pay as much can still receive their healing session - this is the idea behind 'paying it forward'.
