Boshko Boskovic is a Reiki & Sound practitioner interested in the process of healing the physical and emotional body through alternative therapies. He believes the steps to restoring to a wholesome condition involve first acknowledging and then releasing blockages that reside within our bodies. His own healing journey started two decades ago through shamanic journeying, followed by Inipi Native American sweat lodge ceremonies, Family Constellations, Vipassana Meditation, hypnosis and New Decision Therapy.

He is a Reiki Master, trained and certified in the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage by Aki Hirata & Manu del Prete and Alice Jones. His training in sound healing comes from the Sound Healing Center in Sausalito, CA. He continually deepens his spiritual and healing knowledge with teachers such as Irma StarSpirit Turtle Woman, Silvia Nakkach, Lisa Rafel, Sheila Cash and Eliza Swann.

Boshko teaches body scan meditation and Reiki classes at various Senior Centers in New York City. He has worked at Reiki Clinics at the Jewish Community Center in Manhattan and has given in-person and virtual Reiki sessions at institutions such as Weinberg Center for Balanced Living, Soho Works, Reimagine Worldwide Virtual Festival, Healthcare for the People and Brooklyn Hospital.

His background is in contemporary visual art, where he spent 15 years as a curator and administrator implementing programs and exhibitions for cultural institutions, foundations and commercial ventures in New York City and globally.

OFFERINGS

Boshko uses the chakra system as the blueprint of the body to detect blocked energies. Before each session he discusses the physical and emotional needs of the client, setting intention together so harmony and balance can be restored.

Prior to a reiki session, you receive a form to fill out which helps Boshko guide your session. When you meet (virtually or in person) you have a short conversation determining the intent for your session. You end with sharing what the experience was like for both of you and ways you can help your body be in harmony.

Boshko uses the curative power of the human voice through sounding and overtone singing as well as scanning blocks in the body with his voice.
