What do you do?
As an acupuncturist, I take away pain and illness, and help to restore balance and vitality to the body and mind. My main primary practice runs six days a week, where I offer full-service acupuncture and related modalities. I am also proud to have helped start a full community acupuncture practice serving our area, based out of Minka and Bikram Yoga Park Slope, with hours Monday through Thursday, and low prices to make consistent, quick, powerful treatments available to everybody regardless of their income or financial situation.
Why do I do what I do?
I am seeking to change the lives of as many people as I can, by making healing available to everyone. I know that I am fulfilling my purpose as an acupuncturist when I am successfully empowering the people I work with to feel confident, healthy, capable, and inspired in their own lives, so that they can feel peace and happiness within themselves, and feel that they can go out and make a positive difference in the world.
What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a holistic system of healing used for the treatment of a wide variety of conditions and imbalances, including pain, stress, insomnia, gastrointestinal issues, gynecological issues, sinus issues, and so much more. Very fine, hair-thin needles are used to stimulate specific points along the body to promote and encourage the body’s innate healing mechanisms. I integrate several unique styles of classical and modern acupuncture, along with other traditional therapies and current myofascial research. Acupuncture is now practiced in hospitals around the world, and is being used extensively by the US military for recovery from trauma, injury, and pain.
